Trail will link Pinellas, Brevard counties

- One of the longest bike trails in the country is taking shape across Florida. Construction began on the Coast-to-Coast Connector trail.  It will connect the west coast of Florida to the east.

Today crews started on the Pinellas Trail near East Lake and Keystone Road.  They'll extend the trail toward the Hillsborough County line before continuing north through Brooker Creek Preserve to the Pasco County line.

Eventually it will connect to Brevard County.

The 250-mile long trail should take a year to complete.
