Two dead after I-75 crash

- The northbound lanes of Interstate 75 have now reopened in Tampa after an earlier crash that left two people dead.

Northbound traffic was backed up approaching the accident scene at Fletcher Avenue for several hours this afternoon. 

Two people were killed in the multi-vehicle crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol, and a "large volume" of nails was spilled along the road.

Details of the crash were not immediately available.
