Two TPD cruisers crash trailing stolen car

- Two Tampa police cruisers were involved in two separate crashes while following a stolen car.

Officers spotted the car just before 6 p.m. Sunday night.  They followed the car for about five minutes, then one of the cruisers hit a fence and a telephone pole.  The other cruiser bumped into another car.

No one was seriously hurt. 

The stolen car was recovered a short time late after being abandoned.

Police are still looking for the car thief.
