USF freshman wide receiver accused of rape on campus

- University of South Florida wide receiver Kevaughn J. Dingle has been arrested and charged with rape, according to USF police. 

The alleged incident happened at a dorm on campus, police say. 

Dingle, 18, is a freshman at USF. He was recruited from Miami Carol City Senior High School in Miami Gardens. He committed to play football at USF in February of 2017.

Dingle is being held without bond. He has been charged with sexual battery.
