Vandals destroy veterinary hospital sign

- A local business is trying to find out who destroyed their sign in an act of vandalism over the Labor Day weekend.

Tampa Veterinary Hospital sent FOX13 a video of the act, caught on a surveillance camera.  It shows a group of young people walking east on Kennedy Boulevard towards downtown, shortly before 1:00 a.m. Saturday.

In the clip, one person does a flying leap, destroying the sign before running off.  Tampa Police are investigating.  The sign is valued at more than $2,000.

The owners of Tampa Veterinary Hospital are asking anyone with information about this incident to call Tampa Police.
