Vandals hit Haines City water plant

- Police want to know who is behind vandalism at a Polk County wastewater treatment plant.

The NuTerra plant on Johnson Avenue East has been targeted over the last several weeks.  Those responsible have damaged equipment, broken windows, and tipped over a portable restroom.

"These acts have caused a disruption of the day-to-day operations of the plant," a HCPD Facebook post said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Haines City Police Detective Sorrentino at 863-421-3636 ext. 2240, or by email at jsorrentino@hainescitypd.com.
