Vehicle located, driver arrested in connection to deadly Pasco County hit-and-run
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (FOX 13) - A tip to Crime Stoppers lead Florida Highway Patrol troopers to make an arrest Tuesday in a hit-and-run that killed a bicyclist in New Port Richey, Florida.
John Mowry was hit and killed Saturday while riding his bike along US 19. His family made a public plea Monday for information about the driver of the blue Saturn Ion that left pieces behind at the scene.
A day later, FHP was able to make an arrest.
Based on the Crime Stoppers tip, troopers went to a residence in the 3800 block of Woodcock Drive, where they found the suspect and his vehicle.

They arrested 43-year-old Somphone Phosy, of Largo.
Information about charges was not immediately available.
