Veterans Day Freebies!

- Ranging from delicious meals to family friendly activities, many local businesses will be participating in freebies and discounts as a thank you to all U.S. veterans for their service on Veterans Day.

Whether you are active duty or retired, be sure to have your military ID with you, as proof of service is needed to enjoy the promotions.

Here is a list of restaurants that will be offering deals on Veterans Day:

  • Applebee's: Free lunch from a special menu
  • Bar Louie: Free Lunch up to $15
  • Buffalo Wild Wings: Free small boneless or traditional wings and small fries
  • California Pizza Kitchen: Will be offering a free lunch from a special menu
  • Chick-fil-A: Free #1 meal between 5 and 7p.m.
  • Denny's: Free build your own Grand Slam between 5 a.m. to noon
  • Glory Days: Free flatbread appetizer or an order of 5 boneless wings
  • Hooters: Free lunch with the purchase of a drink
  • IHop: Free Red, White, and Blue pancakes
  • Krispy Kreme: Free glazed doughnut and a small coffee
  • Little Ceasars: Free lunch combo from 11am to 2pm
  • Olive Garden: Free entrée from a special menu
  • Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin' Onion with a non-alcoholic drink
  • PDQ: Free 3 chicken tenders or a chicken sandwich
  • Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert from a select menu
  • Red Robin: Free Reds Tavern Double and Bottomless Steak Fries
  • Ruby Tuesday: Free appetizer

  • Lowry Park Zoo: Free admission
  • Florida Aquarium: Free admission for veterans, plus one free ticket for a guest
  • MOSI: $5 admission for veterans, plus a discounted price for their family members
  • The Clearwater Marine Aquarium: Free admission
  • The Dali Museum: Free admission
