Victim of deadly Thonotosassa crash identified

- The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a deadly crash that happened Friday in Thonotosassa.  

Troopers say 38-year-old Jamie Lynn Pierantoni of Gibsonton was driving a 2015 Chevy Malibu southbound in the center lane of I-75 just south of Fowler Avenue when she changed lanes and the driver of a Toyota Tundra crashed into the back of her car.

The Chevy hit a third vehicle before spinning off the road and crashing into a tree.  The Tundra flipped and ended up on the shoulder, and the third car came to a stop safely.

Authorities say Pierantoni died at the scene of the crash. The drivers of the two other cars sustained minor injuries.
