Gas station surveillance cameras captured a man stuffing a box of Reese's Cups down his pants, according to the Winter Haven Police Department.

The video makes it seem as if the peanut butter cup thief is nervous about the appearance of an entire box of the goodies being visible through the front of his shirt.

The Winter Haven Police Department said the video shows the man holding the box of individually packaged Reese's and trying to put the box down the front of his pants. When the box doesn't easily fit, he takes it back out and puts it on a counter.

He paces back and forth next to a drink fountain, wipes his brow with his shirt, and then tries again.

Finally, he seems to unzip his shorts and puts the box back into his waistband, covering it with his shirt. The man then continues pacing, dispenses a soft drink, jiggles the handle of another machine, all while continuing to adjust his shirt, possibly checking the visibility of the box underneath.

The police department says the man was later confronted by the store clerk and a verbal altercation ensued. The man left the store on a small dark blue or black bicycle.

The incident happened at the Cash Mart, located at 203 Central Ave E, on June 5 around 11:40 a.m. Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call 863-837-5781.
