Vintage, Etc. combines high-end thrift store with ministry

- Vintage, Etc. has opened in South Tampa, but it's not your typical secondhand store.

"People have a lot of great stuff. We convert it into money to do ministry right here in the Tampa Bay Area," said Craig Altman, lead pastor of Grace Family Church.

All the funds from the items sold go to help local causes, like the Dream Center in Ybor City as well as local and global mission projects.

"(We're) really mentoring in an under-resourced area," Altman said.

The store has deals, but Altman says the staff is also equipped to do ministry right on the spot should someone donating items or shopping need prayer or a kind listening ear.

The store opened on June first and is located at 4479 W. Gandy Blvd.
