Where to find New Year's Eve fireworks in Tampa Bay

- Soon, we will be saying our goodbyes to the year 2017.

The new year is just around the corner, and if you are still searching for options on how to celebrate, there are many to choose from around the Tampa Bay area.

Gulfport New Year’s Eve Gala
The part will be held inside the historic Gulfport Casino Ballroom, with music performed by the local band, Urban Gypsies of Florida.  There will be a full cash bar and drink specials will be available. Address: 5500 Shore Boulevard South

Light It Up – NYE Fireworks Celebration on Clearwater Beach
Sink your toes at Clearwater Beach as fireworks are set off at midnight. This is a free, public event. Address: 333 Gulfview Boulevard

New Year’s Eve at Busch Gardens
Regular admission is still required at the theme park, but you can enjoy roller coasters, live music, and fireworks. Address: 10165 North Malcolm McKinley Drive, Tampa, FL 33612

Aqua Eve
Ring in 2018 with the sea animals at the Florida Aquarium during their annual event, Aqua Eve. It’s also a fundraising even for the aquarium. Adderss: 701 Channelside Drive. Tampa, FL 33602

First Night St. Petersburg
There are all sorts of alcohol-free events starting Sunday evening for both kids and adults. The events will take place in different parts of the city with fireworks at 8 p.m. and midnight.

Downtown Tampa NYE Fireworks
The city of Tampa will host the countdown at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park starting at 10 p.m. Sunday. Address: 601 Old Water Street

Apollo Beach New Year's Eve
There is no cover to watch the fireworks at Circles Waterfront Restaurant. The fireworks will be shot fro ma barge moored in Bal Harbor. Address: 1212 Apollo Beach Boulevard.
