Wild turkey attacks parked SUV in Lakeland neighborhood

A Lakeland woman had to warn her neighbor of a wild turkey threatening to destroy his vehicle's bumper.

Racheal Santarpia started recording when she noticed the bird pecking the rear passenger side of her neighbor's SUV, parked in the driveway.

As she walked closer, she could see the turkey trained on what appears to be its own reflection.

The turkey pecks several times before putting its head into the wheel well, seemingly in an effort to find the turkey behind the mirror.

The turkey walks around to the back of the vehicle, continuing to peck at the bumper.

As Santarpia walks toward the front door of the home, the turkey seems to be startled but returns to its unclear mission as she passes.
