Winn-Dixie offers $5 ham for Thanksgiving
For those who prefer ham to turkey, Winn-Dixie is now offering $5 hams.
The special, similar to the grocery chain's turkey special which ended Sunday, is good for any sized, any weight Hickory Sweet or Smithfield smoked ham shank or butt portion with a $30 purchase at Winn-Dixie stores.
The offer started Monday Nov. 23 and runs through Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 26.
Stores are open regular hours this week except for on Thanksgiving, when the stores close at 4 p.m.
Publix is offering sales on ham and turkey, too. "Our customers can save $1/lb. on Publix semi-boneless hams, and customers can purchase their first two Publix frozen turkeys for $.59/lb., then they're $1.09/lb. Best of all, we plenty of stock on hand, so our customers will find the ham or turkey they need," said Publix spokesman Brian West.
Publix is closed for Thanksgiving, but is open regular hours the rest of the week.
