Women caught on camera claiming someone else's lost wallet

- The search continues for two women caught on camera stealing a wallet from a Dundee convenient store.

According the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the theft happened just before 3:00 p.m. Saturday inside a 7-Eleven in the 28,000 block of U.S. Highway 27.

Authorities tell FOX 13 the suspects witnessed the victim accidentally leave a wallet behind. The pair then approached the counter, spoke with the clerk and claimed the wallet was their own.

The clerk handed over the wallet, and the women took off.

But since surveillance cameras were recording as the crime went down, Heartland Crime Stoppers has since been able to release a picture of the suspect's vehicle, which is described as red truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Polk County Sheriff's Office or report information anonymously through Heartland Crime Stoppers.
