Pinellas youth pastor accused of molesting girl

- A church youth pastor, put in charge of dozens of children, is accused of taking advantage of one of them. Domenic Bisesti  is charged with inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl.

Bisesti is in charge of the children's ministry at Anona United Methodist in Indian Rocks.  During a church event, investigators with Largo police say, Bisesti touched the girl on the buttocks area and detectives believe similar behavior happened more than once.

When the girl discovered it wasn’t an accident, she told her mom, who called police.

Rev. Jack Stephenson, who is the lead pastor, says the church is cooperating with investigators, bringing in counselors to help discover if there are more victims.

“My faith in the church, my faith in God is very strong,” Stephenson said. “My disappointment in this is very real.”

Detectives were also able to retrieve some information off the victim’s cell phone to help make their arrest.

Biseesti is being held on a $10,000 bond.
