Zephyrhills man arrested for swinging machete at another driver

- A man was arrested in Zephyrhills for pulling a machete on another driver during a fit of road rage. 

Police say Jonathan Bailey, 34, pulled up next to a man who reportedly cut him off Tuesday night near a WalMart on Gall Blvd. and swung a sword at him, which struck the victim on the hand.

After the incident, the victim told police he followed the suspect to try and get his vehicle's tag number. 

Bailey told police he swung the machete at the man because the man was following him. 

The victim refused treatment for his injury.

Bailey is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
