Man feeds homeless out of car

- It was something he kept to himself. Not even his family or friends knew about his random act of kindness until FOX 5 came across Yoel Correa feeding the homeless out of his car.

“You are feeding people, it is just an amazing feeling,” Correa said.

FOX 5 came across Correa outside Atlanta Police Headquarters while on another story. Correa said he lives paycheck to paycheck, but sets aside money every week, and about once a month, buys food from a restaurant and feeds the homeless out of his car.

“I am not saying that I am good, but sometimes I have problems and somehow those problems always happen to find a solution, and I am like it's crazy how that works, so I am like I don’t know maybe I can be a solution to someone else's problems,” Correa said.

The 24-year-old plumber brings the paper plates, napkins and utensils as well. Person after person made their way over to Correa's Chevy Impala and said thank you as they accepted a hot meal.

FOX 5 posted video of Correa’s selfless act on social media and it took off.

“That’s a man with a big heart,” Sharon Lee said.

Susan Hale wrote, “This world needs more young men just like you! What an unselfish act of kindness! God Bless you!"

Many asked how you can help Correa's cause. He said he wants people to go out and do the same.

“It is so easy to come help. It is so simple,” Correa said. “Just save up money, $10 dollars a week. Then at the end of the month, there is going to be good money enough, you'd be surprised at some of the things you could do."
