Minnesota officer avoids shotgun blast during traffic stop

- A Minnesota officer was nearly shot during a traffic stop.

La Crescent police officer, Ryan Quanrud, is seen in dashcam video approaching the vehicle along a highway in Hokah, Minnesota. It looks as though he peers into the driver’s window when a shotgun was fired toward him. Quanrud quickly backs away and points his own weapon at the vehicle as it flees from the scene.

According to local media, two teenagers were arrested. Both face multiple felony charges, including attempted murder of a police officer.
