Oregon man tries to steal bike right outside police station

- An Oregon man was arrested after attempting to steal a bicycle from outside a police department, officials said.

Gladstone police released surveillance video showing the suspect approach the bicycle with a pair of bolt cutters. One officer, Sgt. Okerman, is seen exiting the police station and approach the man wearing a balaclava, according to KOIN.

The officer pointed a Taser at the man, later identified as Adam Valle, before arresting him.

Gladstone police posted the video to the agency’s Facebook page, writing, “Suspect arrested for attempting to steal a bike…From the PD!!!!”
