Parachutist caught in Florida powerline

- A man is fine after getting his parachute tangled in a powerline in Deland, Florida.  

On Monday morning the DeLand Fire Department was alerted about a parachutist stuck in power lines near the DeLand Municipal Airport.

DeLand and Volusia fire crews quickly responded to the scene. Power was cut off in the area for a short time and the parachutist has been rescued.
