Police chase personal watercraft on London's River Thames

- It was high drama on London’s famed river.

Four jet skiers were caught on camera speeding along the River Thames on Friday.

Marine police were not far behind, making for a dangerous, high-speed chase.

A video taken by Curtis Durham, who was on a nearby boat, shows the speeding personal watercrafts speed by with a large police boat flying across the water behind them.

Police reportedly called off the chase due to safety reasons, but marine units eventually caught up to the jet skiers and were able to make them change their course.

Officials say vessels on the Thames are strictly monitored to prevent accidents and protect wildlife.
