Rays fan takes foul ball to the eye

A Tampa Bay Rays fan took a tough shot to the eye off a foul ball hit by Evan Longoria at Wednesday night's game against Detroit.

Sarah Shaffner was hanging out at the 162 Landing with her group when she got distracted. "The ball bounced off the ground and hit me right in the face and I was like, 'awesome,'" she said. 

Shaffner got a pretty good shiner from the foul ball. FOX 13's Chip Carter caught up with her after the game, but she was in good spirits about the whole thing while she was icing it down. She's going to get a signed ball out of it.
