High-steak game: 78-point win means big steakhouse discount

- Michigan's dominant victory over Rutgers leaves fans with a great dinner deal and a restaurant that might've bitten off more than it can chew.

Leading up to yesterday's blowout win by Michigan over Rutgers, a famous steakhouse made fans a mouth-watering offer. Ruth's Chris in Ann Arbor promised fans a discount by whatever percentage equaled by Michigan's margin of victory for the remainder of the season.

Well, Michigan won 78-0 on Saturday -- which would mean a whopping 78% of your meal.

But, the restaurant announced with the promotion that discounts will be capped at 50 percent. The deal also excludes alcohol.

Ruth's Chris posted on its Facebook Sunday evening that they're booked solid in reservations through Thursday. That's when the deal for Saturday's game expires.

So, better luck next game.
