Hero cop saves suicidal man

With no time to spare, quick-acting Sgt. Greg Bogert of the Riverdale NJ police sprang out of his car and into action to save a man from a suicide attempt.

A man, distraught over what Bogert said was the a loss of a family member, attempted to jump off the Route 287 bridge near the Hamburg Turnpike on Monday morning.

Dramatic dashcam video shows the entire incident, which that lasts only seconds.

Bogert joined Chasing News via Skype to talk about what happened.
