Budweiser Clydesdales welcome newest addition, baby "Mac"

- There's a new addition to the Budweiser Clydesdales family! No, his name's not "Bud," it's "Mac," and he is the first foal of 2016.

Mac was born at the Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville, Missouri, at 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday. He will live there at the ranch and learn the ins and outs of being one of the Budweiser Clydesdales.

Mac joins the Anheuser-Busch's herd of more than 160 Clydesdales.

The Budweiser Clydesdales made their first appearance as a gift from August A. Busch, Jr. and Adolphus Busch to their father in 1933 in celebration of the repeal of Prohibition and it's been a tradition ever since.
