McDonald's testing new preservative-free McNuggets

McDonald's is testing out a new Chicken McNuggets recipe without artificial preservatives, the chain says.

The new McNuggets are being tested at about 140 restaurants in Oregon and Southwest Washington. "These new Chicken McNuggets are made with a simpler recipe that parents can feel good about while keeping the same great taste they know and love," said McDonald's spokesman Becca Hary.

The company says it is evaluating the feedback from the customers in Portland, who have responded favorably so far, before rolling the new nuggets out to additional restaurants. "We'll continue to learn from this test to inform future decisions," said Hary.
