As of now, the company says there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions from the meat, but they are concerned some products may be frozen and in consumers' freezers to be eaten at a later date.

E. coli O157:H7 is a potentially deadly bacterium that can cause dehydration, bloody diarrhea and abdominal cramps within a week of being exposed. Symptoms can worsen for those who do not recover within a week. Click here for more information from the FSIS.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged to throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
