VIDEO: Adorable bobcat kitten rescued in California

A bobcat kitten was rescued from a park in Riverside, California.

Animal control officers said a homeless man, his girlfriend, and sister spotted the kitten near their camp. They noticed two bobcat cubs were separated from their mother by a fence.

The women were able to reunite one of the cubs with its mother, but the two animals ran away, leaving the second cub behind.

To make matters worse, animal control officers said a pair of crows swooped in and came within inches of the abandoned cub. That's when the women placed the bobcat into a backpack, returned to their camp, and called animal control.

The little guy, believed to be about three months old, was taken to an animal shelther in Jurupa Valley and will be turned over to state fish and wildlife authorities.
