Cole Eicher has been on a mission to help pediatric cancer patients.

At 17 years old, Cole knows what it's like to struggle with cancer. When he was 12, he spent a year fighting brain cancer.

"I was really having double vision... My balance was off. I was just throwing up constantly in the morning when I would wake up," Cole said. "I underwent surgery, radiation, chemotherapy."

Cole is now in remission now and he wants to take what he learned about being sick to help others.

Four years ago, he started a non-profit called Gold Together to help raise money for those with childhood cancer.

"I really wanted to help the cause and just fight back against pediatric cancer," Cole said.

He raises money through speaking engagements at community events where he encourages others to give.

"My mission is to do the greatest amount of good in the least amount of time for the greatest amount of kids," Cole explained.

He has helped raise more than a million dollars for cancer research, awareness, and support.

"I'm very proud of that number and I am really happy about it," Cole said. "It doesn't matter who you are or what you do. Everyone can do something for kids fighting cancer."

The Gold Together Relay for Life Team has just become a national program. Now Cole will have a team in every state in the country. For information, visit www.goldtogether.com.
