Kidspack volunteers are taking a bite out of food hunger by providing meals for children to eat over the weekend.

"Right now we are feeding 1,738 children weekly in the three counties," Kidspack Executive Director Patty Strickland said.

The mission is to make sure kids have food to eat over the weekend.

"[We] can't allow our youth to go hungry," Kidspack Founder Randy Browling said. "Anyone who is hungry is going to have issues. We need to at least bridge that gap and make sure these children are fed so that they can learn."

Kidspack started three years ago. Randy hopes to change the lives of these children.

"We give them two breakfast, two lunches, two dinners, every weekend," Patty said.

"My wish for this program and to the children in the program is that it will help them and allow them to maintain their hope," Randy said.

Kidspack will also be feeding children over the summer. If you would like more information, email info@kidspack.org
