World's largest McDonald's closes; bigger one under construction

- After four decades of McDonald's memories the iconic 'French Fry Box' McDonald's restaurant on International Drive and Sand Lake Road has closed.

The 2-story restaurant opened in 1976 and was known for its large upstairs arcade.

A bigger McDonald's will open up next door in February.

The new McDonald's is 19,000-square-feet and will include self-service kiosks that will let guests customize their sandwiches.
