It may seem like a simple thing, but one of the best ways to help a child's self-esteem is to make sure they are comfortable in what they are wearing.

A lot of families can't afford clothes for their school kids, much less new clothes.

That's where a nonprofit called Clothes to Kids comes in. The organization provides five new outfits to children who qualify, free of charge.

Thanks to community support. Clothes to Kids is expanding. Right now, it has two in Pinellas County and is opening a new store in Tampa this summer.

Clothes to Kids held its annual luncheon Thursday, emceed by FOX 13’s Kelly Ring.
