Lightning shut out the Islanders 4-0, advance to Eastern Conference Final
TAMPA (FOX 13) - The Tampa Bay Lightning have defeated the New York Islanders in round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Bolts won 4-0 in Game 5 at Amalie Arena Sunday afternoon.
They now advance to the Eastern Conference Final for the second straight season.
They will face off against the Washington Capitals or Pittsburgh Penguins. The Penguins lead the Capitals 3-2 and Game 6 is Tuesday night in Pittsburgh.
