Merriam-Webster adds 'Hella' and 'FOMO' to dictionary

Merriam-Webster announced the latest update to its unabridged dictionary on Wednesday.

There were about 2,000 additions submitted by the public, but one in particular resonates with people in the Bay Area.  'Hella' meaning 'very, extremely' was added. 

Other additions include 'FOMO', 'Wacky Tobacky, 'TMI' and 'Cold Turkey.'
