Couple poses in front of massive tornado for prom

- A young couple’s prom photo is taking the internet by storm- literally- because their backdrop is a massive tornado.

It was taken Saturday afternoon in Wray, Colorado, where Wray High School freshman Ally Marintzer and her date, Charlie, decided that the storm couldn’t rain on their parade (prom night).

So, instead of running from it, they posed together in front of it, and later posted it online.

FOX4Now.com reports that the twister was about two-and-a-half or three miles from the home at the time, and that Marintzer’s mother, Heidi, took the photo only after they realized it wasn’t a threat to their safety.

The photo has since gone viral.
