There are more problems for the company that makes sippy cups, "Tommee Tippee."
Just weeks after pulling their sippy cups from store shelves because of a design that allowed mold to grow inside the cups, the company Mayborn USA now has a bottle warmer that can catch on fire, according to reports.
Some Tommee Tippee Electric Bottle and Food Warmers could overheat and catch fire, the company said. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Mayborn USA is recalling 255,000 warmers after receiving reports of overheating, metling, smoking, and even catching fire, which caused more than $16,000 in property damage.
The warmers included in the recall have "min" or "0" stamped on the left-hand side of the control dial, and have a "UL" logo and a six alpha numeric batch code that begins with a number and ends with "GY" stamped on the underside.
