Dozens of killer whales seen off Calif. coast

- About 50 killer whales were spotted off the coast of Newport Beach, California

Whale watchers got quite the surprise off the coast of California when dozens of killer whales made a splash off the coast of Newport Beach Wednesday afternoon. 

The orcas are a very rare sighting in these waters.

They are normally found off the coast of British Columbia.
