WATCH: Employees scatter after tanker truck explodes

- Employees at a Panda Express in Atwater, California scrambled to safety after a tanker truck carrying gasoline overturned and exploded outside their building on Tuesday.

The video from outside the restaurant, located near the intersection of Highway 99 and Applegate Drive, shows intense flames as the employee recording the video runs for safety.

California Highway Patrol officials told local news stations the driver of the tanker was likely going too fast off the ramp, causing the truck to flip.

The driver was killed.

Others posted video of the black cloud of smoke created by the fire.
