9-foot shark leaps into elderly man's 15-foot boat

An Australian fisherman got a big surprise when a 9-foot shark jumped into his boat.

Terry Sellwood didn't have to do anything but move out of the way to capture a great white shark, because the giant fish jumped into his boat on its own.

The 73-year-old fisherman was knocked to his feet when the 9-foot shark leaped into his 15-foot power boat off the coast of Australia.

As the shark thrashed around inside the vessel, Sellwood had just a few feet to get out of the way of the beast. He radioed for help and hung onto the boat's canopy until a rescue boat arrived.

Sellwood was left with a deep cut on his arm from the encounter, and of course, an incredible fishing story.
