Selfie party girls turn table on TV announcers

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - The sorority girls mocked on TV while taking selfies during an Arizona Diamondbacks game are now turning the tables on the team and the announcers who were mocking them.

The announcers apparently didn't know the girls were actually doing the shoot for a team promotion and that the pictures would air later in the broadcast.

To apologize to the girls for the misunderstanding the team offered them free tickets to another game.

The girls have accepted the tickets, but told the team and FOX Sports that they would like to donate them to A New Leaf, an organization that supports domestic violence awareness.

The girls say anything that brings awareness to the issue would be greatly appreciated.
