VIDEO: Brother, sister burst into happy tears over hamster surprise

Get ready. The moment one little girl surprised her brother with a pet hamster may just be the most endearing and adorable thing you’ll see….possibly ever. And while the newly viral video itself is great, the story behind it is even better.

It all started when a little girl named Abby Stout got a hamster for a pet, and- in true sibling fashion- her brother Daniel decided he wanted one too.

Online, their mom said Daniel started doing a bunch of chores around the house so he could collect enough allowance to buy a hamster of his own.

And this is where the viral video begins.

Excitedly, Abby can be seen leading Daniel who, “doesn’t understand what is happening”, through the house and over to her surprise.

“I got you a hamster!,” she says, bursting with joy. “I paid for it!”

And as if the moment wasn’t perfect enough, Daniel immediately hugs his sister and breaks into happy tears.

“Are you crying?” Abby asks, before adorably adding, “because I am!”

Their mother, Rachel, later posted the entire thing on Facebook, where it was viewed nearly 1 million times in just three days.
