ADORABLE VIDEO: Soldier father wearing lion suit surprises daughter

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - It was an adorable surprise in Colorado Springs, Colorado involving a soldier and a lion suit.

Fort Carson soldier Eric Cook wanted to surprise his daughter at school after being away for a year.

Cook was wearing a lion costume and went into the classroom holding flowers. He sat down to read the kids a story and said, already sniffling, that he had a special surprise for one student.

When his daughter stood in front of him, he took off the costume head and the class squealed with glee when they relealized it was their classmate's father.

The two hugged for long time on the video shot by Cook's cousin, Chris Minter.

Cook has been away for almost a year in Egypt, Kuwait, and Iraq.
