GALESVILLE, Wis. (FOX 13) - If you need more apple pie in your life, there's one place you should go.
The Apple Affair festival in Galesville, Wisconsin draws in thousands of people to honor the state’s apple orchards, which includes a 10-foot apple pie. It also includes a scrambled egg omelet made out of thousands of eggs, and lunch options like bratwurst and hot dogs. Attendees can also purchase apples and apple treats from the local orchard farmers.
This year, coordinators said there the line of people waiting for a slice of apple pie was a block and half.
The Apple Affair raises money for the Galesville Chamber of Commerce and its community events and projects throughout the year. The event has been celebrated every year since 1983.
