SPAIN (FOX 13) - A flamingo created quite the stir at an airport.
The colorful bird was seen strutting on the tarmac of Palma de Mallorca Airport, located on an island east of Spain. The only problem was its runway show was going on in front of an EasyJet flight attempted to reach its gate.
Airport crew members said the plane had to brake to avoid hitting the bird. Eventually, the flamingo flew away, allowing other planes to continue their scheduled flights.
According to Insider, airport staff were surprised to see a flamingo on the tarmac since the birds usually leave the Spanish island by April.
