Is this the world's tallest dog?

There's a new contender for the world's largest dog.  Meet Rocko from Nevada, a 160-pound Great Dane -- who's still growing.

At 2 years old, the dog stands at 40 inches and more than 7 feet tall on his back legs.

His family is now making a bid to the Guinness Book of World Records to document Rocko as the tallest living dog.  The previous record was 44 inches.

"If there's a bigger dog, I'd like to see it," said his owner, Nicholas Helms, adding, "it's nice to connect with people with an abnormally large dog."
