It's a boy! Baby giraffe born at Dallas Zoo

The Dallas Zoo has welcomed a not-so-little baby: A five-foot-nine giraffe calf.

The giraffe was born to its mother "Chrystal" April 5, weighing in at 130 pounds.

Vets at the zoo say the calf is healthy  and quickly began standing and walking along with its mother after its birth.

The zoo announced this week the giraffe is a baby boy and his name is "Witten." He will make his debut to the public in a couple weeks.
