Michigan woman skydives to celebrate her 90th birthday

- A 90-year-old woman took a leap of faith for her birthday.

Dottie Sambiagio from Michigan celebrated nine decades of her life by skydiving. She jumped out of a plane at 14,000 feet. She said she was inspired after seeing former President George H. W. Bush skydive for his 90th birthday.

Sambiagio, who is from Petersburg, said she hopes her skydive will inspire others to live out their dreams.

She went skydiving with Skydive Tecumseh in Jackson. The company captured video of her thrilling jump where she confidently jumped out of the plane. After landing she said her experience was “wonderful.”
