Mountain lion on the loose in California
GRANADA HILLS (KTTV) - Police in Granada Hills are sent on a chase to retrieve a mountain lion on the loose.
The mountain lion was first spotted on the campus of John F Kennedy high school.
The school was put on lockdown as officials tried to capture the animal.
That proved unsuccessful. The mountain lion jumped a wall and started venturing onto residential property.
That's when animal services hit it with a tranquilizer to slow it down.
The lion fought it for a while, but eventually was subdued and police were able to capture it safely.
