Photographer creates touching moment for mother who lost daughter

A photographer was able to perfectly create a moment for a mother to honor her daughter, who had lost her battle with childhood cancer.

Little Azalee Mae Carroll Crowe passed away two years ago at the age of 6. She never got to meet the man her mother, Amanda Crowe Freebird, was going to marry, so Freebird asked the photographer, Ashley Frantz, to help incorporate Azalee into her wedding photos.

The final touching portrait shows Freebird in her wedding dress leaning over to kiss the likeness of her daughter, her daughter's face in her hands. "This beautiful soul was able to capture an absolutely priceless moment on my wedding day with my sweet girl who passed 2 years ago," Freebird said on the photographer's Facebook page.

Frantz said it was an honor to be able to do this for her.

During the wedding ceremony, Amanda and her husband, Chip, released butterflies in memory of Azalee. As the butterflies flew away, one stayed with Amanda, landing on her dress for a while, near her heart, before eventually flying away and sitting on a nearby tree.
